“Dr. Amir Beltagi is a highly accomplished physical therapist with a diverse background in academia and clinical practice. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomechanics from Cairo University and the University of Illinois at Chicago (2022), as well as a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Cairo University (2009), Dr. Beltagi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to PT Of The City.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Beltagi served as an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Biomechanics at Cairo University (2012 – 2022). During this time, he conducted extensive research and contributed to numerous publications, conferences, and presentations in the fields of spine rehabilitation, knee and shoulder injuries, and gait analysis.
Dr. Beltagi is a licensed physical therapist in New York, Illinois, and Egypt, with specialized experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and neuromuscular rehabilitation. He is also certified in manual therapy, kinesio-taping, and pelvic floor management, allowing him to provide comprehensive and individualized care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
